The single largest span of Glass in the world and is known as The Great Glass House.
Inside the dome plants have been planted to represent six different places in the world.California, Australia, Canary Islands,Chile, South Africa and the Mediterranean Basin.
Covering 3,500 square metres its rocky terraces,natural sandstone cliffs and gravelled scree slopes are contoured to reflect the natural environment and to create a wide range of habitats,balancing moisture,shade and light to suit the needs of different plants.
